important info:
each kit is carefully packed in a reusable, (hopefully durable but might crack in shipping extremes) plastic organizer box
smallest pieces are packed into a cute and tiny, reusable “Really Useful Box” with lid
some pieces are packed into reusable Kikkerland plastic bags that resemble mason jars
WARNING: real, actual hat-pin/jewelry-sized SHARP straight pins are used for the ribbons
(if this is a problem for you, please let me know at purchase and I will remove them. no worries)
these kits are absolutely NOT intended to be child-friendly or child-safe due to small, small pieces (and the straight pins)
some items are included with their original packaging even if not still complete in amount. between photos and description, hopefully I’ve presented the items well and clearly for you. just know that a printed quantity on an item’s original package might not equal the quantity you receive, but that’s not in error or designed to mislead.
all of the items are copyright of their manufacturers
the kits are not intended to be new item retail (like scrapbook monthly kit clubs of old) but more of a curated, artisanal collection from my art studio to yours
last p.s.:
the stories and subject matter in the My Book House books are less… um, possibly “offensive” than some collections of rhymes and stories of that time, but please do look up the books if you’re not familiar with them to make sure you’re going to be glad you’ve purchased this kit :) we’ve come a long way in the understanding and respecting of each others’ differences. in my opinion, the bits that are outdated are few compared to the larger portions of art and story that have withstood the test of time.
